Group coaching is the way to serve more people wit Group coaching is the way to serve more people with less effort in this industry. Everyone's doing it.

I don't do group coaching, and here's why.

After hearing my reasoning, do you think I should do group coaching?
She should be eating 2100 calories and she is only She should be eating 2100 calories and she is only eating 1400.

When we INCREASED her intake to 2000 calories per day, she lost 10 lbs.

The mindset most women come to me with is that less is more. I am eating less. So I should be losing weight. The reality is that when your body is unsupported, it goes in to starvation mode, and hangs on to that weight you are trying to lose.

One of the biggest pieces of coaching is mindset. I know it can be shocking how much mindset really moves the needle, but people who work on their mindset especially around nutrition and fitness see more sustainable results. Meaning- if you want to lose weight AND keep it off, you have to work on your mindset.

This client changed her habits and how she thought about nutrition and fitness. It went against everything conventional wisdom had taught her- work out harder and eat less.

Now, she's on the path to supporting her body (through the Core Health Metrics) and entering in to her fat loss phase with a body ready to shed the weight.

It can feel backwards to do the thing that conventional wisdom has told you not to do, but its what works for sustainable fat loss.

So, I'm curious- Do you ever catch yourself fighting old thoughts or past limiting beliefs around nutrition training or cardio?
What do you do when you are in a fat loss phase an What do you do when you are in a fat loss phase and you know you are going to be in a situation where there's "off plan" food?

The strategies I give my clients are:
1. Eat before you go!
2. Pack some purse snacks
3. Expect the unexpected

Sometimes you have to plan for the unplanned and you don't want to be stuck starving and then eating something that didn't even taste that good and took you off plan.

The goal here is that we are designing your fitness and nutrition- in whatever phase you are in- around your real life. We want your plan to fit you, so that after fat loss, you can still sustain the weight that you've lost.

Strategies like this are how we do it.
Have you been in a calorie deficit before and move Have you been in a calorie deficit before and moved in to a maintenance phase? What did that look like for you?
Stress management is one marker telling us if your Stress management is one marker telling us if your body is ready for fat loss or not.

Is your stress management just trying to not be stressed? Just meditate a little more, amiright?

When we try to control our stress by just not stressing, it trains us to start ignore stress cues.

For women, this can often look like shoving actual feelings of stress down, which causes- you guessed it- more stress.

Let's start thinking of stress management as nervous system regulation. Things that work for others, may not work for you. If meditation is not your jam, get curious and find out what is.

What helps you to feel regulated even in a life that includes stress?
I’m doing what worked before and now its not worki I’m doing what worked before and now its not working. I hear women say this everyday. The methods they used before to drop the weight and get lean are just not working anymore.

And its not because they aren’t “trying hard enough”. Its because what worked before is not going to work the same in perimenopause. Once your body and your hormones start to shift, you have to respond with a new plan, smarter workouts and targeted nutrition.

Its simple, but its not easy. But it can be personalized to your exact needs. Follow along to find out how!
